Online Mixing:

So many of the recordings on Myspace and the like, whilst having been recorded relatively well and containing great performances, suffer from a poor mix. Drums are often the weakest link, sounding like they've been recorded in a bedroom and lacking the power of a professional recording, but other culprits are vocals buried in reverb or containing the odd obviously out-of-tune note, or guitar parts that don't sit in the track and fight for space with vocals and keyboards.

If you've done me a recording with your band or as a solo artist, and you're not happy with it, there are things that can be done. All that is needed is the individual tracks from the recording as AIFF or WAV files sent on CD/DVD in the post or via FTP, and a new mix can be done for you. No upfront fee, no fee at all if you're not happy with the results. And thanks to digital recording and mixing techniques, the final mix can be tweaked as much as you like until you're satisfied.

As well as improving the mix, edits can be done to the original audio, to fix the aforementioned one bad note that spoils the whole performance, or to fix the one out-of-time fill that there wasn't time to do on the day of recording. How much of this is done is totally up to you. From the majority of recordings, it should be possible to create something that an independent label would consider releasing with no further processing than a mastering treatment.
